We offer Assessment (Psychological Testing) to children and adults who are struggling with behavior, developmental, and/or emotional challenges. Test results will help guide treatment and open doors to community-based resources.

Psychological testing can identify and clarify a diagnosis so you can begin your treatment and care journey. Listed here are some of the things we can determine with testing tools:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • IQ (intelligence quotient)
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Effects of Trauma/Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Attachment Disorder
  • Psychosis
  • Anxiety and Mood Disorders
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Personality Disorders

Many factors are considered to ensure the client receives the care they need. In addition to direct testing, we may also review (with your consent) medical records, school records, developmental history and past treatment records. Additionally, we may also talk to  teachers, parents, and siblings, as appropriate.

Length of testing varies by individual. We ask clients to anticipate testing to take place over the course of multiple days. We will work with you to create a testing/assessment schedule that works best for you and your child.

After your testing or assessment we will schedule a follow up appointment with you to discuss your test results. We are committed to creating an individualized plan of care that works for your family.
